Muriwai artists will be exhibiting at Kumeu Arts from the 17th March until the 8th April.
For this exhibition they challenged themselves with the theme of 200 x 200 x 200. This is an exhibition where each work is 200mm x 200mm and costs $200. These blocks are all on sustainable bamboo, which aligns with the values held by this group and gives you a chance to see these talented artists keeping their individuality yet all working within the same boundaries.
The 200x 200 pieces are cash and carry meaning once you have purchased your artwork you may take it with you straight away.
Other works by each artist will also be available.
The artists are: Tanya Blong, Joss Hong, Judy Stokes, Pat Henley, Liz Smith, Lesley Dixon, Suzanne Way, Laird McKechnie, Gaylene Earl, and Karuna Douglas. Mediums include painting, photography, jewellery, embroidery and ceramics.
