Born in 1987, Laetitia Decan is a self-taught painter and tattoo artist from the south of France. Since October 2018 being in Muriwai, she has found this superb and beautiful place has given her inspiration to create new works on the theme of the ocean. She is enjoying exploring different techniques. In her series of oil paintings the fauna, flora and humans are in harmony. An explosion of colour reminds us that nature is still well made and that its protection is more necessary than ever . Her recognisable style with her trademark white contours and drips recall the world of street art where she started her artistic journey. Laetitia is also committed to educate the new generation about our society and the protection of nature through her work to create frescoes in a youth workshop.
